Sharon Yvonne Stone was born on March 10 the year 1958 in Meadville, Pennsylvania, to accountant Dorothy Lawson and tool and die maker also a former worker at a factory Joseph William Stone II. Michael, Kelly and Patrick are her three siblings. Stone started second grade in kindergarten at age five. Saegertown School situated in Saegertown Pennsylvania was her high school. Her graduation was in 1975. She also competed in the Miss Pennsylvania beauty pageant, which she won Miss Crawford County. Stone was able to move to New Jersey with her aunt in 1977 to explore a modeling career. She did so after signing with the Ford Modeling Agency within a month. After one year of modeling living in Milan and Paris and then moving to Europe. But, Stone became disillusioned with modeling and fashion in Europe which led her to take up acting while in the country. Stone was in Woody Allen's film "Stardust Memories" when he was 20. The film received mixed reactions.
